We’ve spent decades working with the local manufacturers who make these luxurious sweaters, scarves and other apparel. We don’t provide any status with our label: just timeless handwork, beautiful design and superb quality we guarantee. All that, at the same price we charge our friends.
How it all began
IN 1984 I was waiting for a bus in lima peru when a ragged stranger started talking to me
He was a down-on-his-luck jazz musician who had lived in the United States; now he used his English to win himself refreshments from sympathetic foreigners. Before I knew it, I was following him down a series of narrow alleys. He had a friend who could help me, he said, just up ahead. That was my first export contact. By the time I got on the bus, I was in business.
