Striper Socks

Abraham Maslow was a mid-Twentieth century psychologist who theorized that human beings had a hierarchy of needs.  At the base of the pyramid were food, water, warmth and rest.  On the next level up were these socks.

Take a look at that picture of the inside of the sock.  Get really close to the screen.  See those loops of silky soft alpaca pile?  They surround your feet and toes like thousands of tiny masseuses dedicated only to your comfort.  The innumerable air pockets they form create a barrier of warmth between your feet and the cold inhospitable outside world.  These stretch socks move with your step, never bagging or bunching up, and they are naturally odor-resistant.  When the time comes, just throw them in the washing machine and let them air dry, because you're a busy person.  Great for hiking, skiing, poor circulation, and just sitting by the window and watching the raindrops fall.  If Maslow were around today, he'd probably say that once you've got food, shelter and these socks, well... maybe esteem and self-actualization just aren't that important after all.
